Hey everyone! Unfortunately life has gotten in the way in the last couple of weeks, as it tends to do sometimes, and we were unable to get a new episode recorded for your listening pleasure this week. However, we didn't want to leave you hanging, so we put together a special content release of Joel interviewing Jonathan Phelps, the son of Westboro Baptist Church founder, Fred Phelps.
Now I won't lie to you, this interview was painful to edit and listen to, and you may be wondering why we're even posting content that allows this man to have any platform. As Joel states at the end of the interview, he went into it hoping to understand how this organization ticks, and came out of it wanting the listeners to hear the sheer insanity with their own ears. We personally think this man and the organization are hateful and full of shit, but of course you are free to make your own decisions about them. Anyway, we hope you enjoy what we've put together for you, and we don't blame you at all if you can't finish the episode. We'd love to hear your feedback though!
